Motivation is a vital part of our life. Most people need some motivation to perform to the best of their ability. We all can relate to the power that motivational quotes can have on our state of mind. When you need some support to take an action, motivational quotes can be of great help.  Students are unmotivated during their online classes in the midst of a pandemic; our students’ lives may have changed drastically since the day our school shut down. These difficulties of students can be overcome by using creative activities to make an inspirational solution – so we, the researchers, have come up with a solution to help students overcome their online classes with the use of Inspirational/Motivational cards called “Educards”.

EDUCARDS

The word “Educards” is a shortened term for “education” and “cards”. Educards are motivational/inspirational cards that aims to encourage and inspire students to partake in online learning that may be a huge impact on their academic performance. It is a helping hand to those who are having the hard time coping up with their online classes and get back on track so their studies would not lead to failure. The researchers also want to promote, both mentally and emotionally healthy learning environment by boosting students’ confidence and productivity during online learning.

This product was made with the use of the graphic tool – Canva.  Mansfield (2021) describes Canva as a tool loaded with enough easy-to-use features and functionality that anyone can create a variety of engaging content that gets shared. It is one of the best online/offline platforms to create a custom project.

How to use Educards

  • Read them at any time of the day, it may be in the morning, before and after classes or even at night, before you go to bed.
  • Keep a small notebook and put or stick inside the cards that you like the best and that have a strong positive impact.
  • Store the cards on your cell phone or any devices, where they can be always available to you when you want to read them.
